Pryor Art Gallery Features Local Students’ Work The art work of local students is currently on display at the Pryor Art Gallery on the Columbia State Campus.
“This exhibit gets more exceptional each year,” said Lucy Kuykendall, curator and director of Columbia State’s Pryor Art Gallery. “Visitors will be awed by the smarts, talent, creativity, as well as hard work going on in our schools by students and teachers alike. Look in any direction in the Pryor Gallery, and you will be impressed by the promise of our youth.”
Recent Headlines March 4th, 2010 A Day of Silhouettes at Polka Dotz Tim Arnold, America’s premiere silhouette artist for over thirty years, will be making a special visit to Polka Dotz at The Commons at Spring Hill, 5075 Main St., on March 10 and 11. Arnold will be holding five minute silhouetting sessions from 10 a.m. in the morning to 7 p.m. in the evening. During each five minute appointment, he will hand cut any silhouette with exquisite detailing and accuracy. “Tim visited Polka Dotz a couple of years ago and we’ve had many requests to bring him back ” says Tracy Anderson, Owner of Polka Dotz. “Tim’s work is simply amazing. He creates interior detailing within each silhouette that is unmatched.
